Claims processing and Adult Family Home support
We support Adult Family Homes by:
- Creating Apple Health (Medicaid) claims or encounters using data submitted through electronic medical record systems, secure electronic methods, or paper claims.
- Checking eligibility and making sure all data sharing follows HIPAA requirements.
- Reviewing claims to confirm they are linked to an approved CBHS or IBSS service.
- Using HCA billing guidance, including the ProviderOne Billing and Resource Guide and CBHS operations and billing guides, to support accurate claims submission.
- Providing clear, written instructions that explain how to submit claims data through our Claims Clearinghouse.
- Notifying providers of missing information and helping address issues so claims meet Medicaid and HCA requirements.
- Onboarding and technical assistance.

CHPS Clearinghouse Claims and Billing Training
Community Health Partnership Services (CHPS) is hosting a Claims and Billing training for Adult Family Homes to help providers submit CBHS and IBSS claims accurately. The session covers how to register for and use the online system, check claims for completeness, and send them to the correct health plan or the HCA.
CHPS will also offer support with provider enrollment, resolving claim issues, and understanding Medicaid billing guidelines for the CBHS program. After selecting a webinar date, participants will receive a registration link—be sure to check your spam or junk folder.
